Looking good, but a bit inconvenient

This app is great for NYCB customers. It provides quick access to your account balance and transfer history. I havent tried out the check depositing feature, but thats certainly a welcome feature. Ive noticed that the app doesnt support the iPhone 6/6 Plus screen size, despite these resolutions approaching their two-year anniversary. It would also be nice to see Touch ID support; this would require the password to be saved on the device, but can still be implemented securely. The app also remains signed in and unlocked when you switch to other apps, until the app times out from inactivity. It should probably lock itself after losing focus.

Lacks support for iPhone 6, 6+, 6s, 6s+. No TouchID.

Camera deposits are nice (but limits are too low for me). The app thinks every phone is a 3-year-old iPhone 5, showing the wrong keyboard and oversized UI if you attempt to use it on any current iPhones, or even last years models. How can this be, for a brand new app? No TouchID support means the app is impractical to use unless you give your account a really simple password suitable for a phone keyboard. Which would be less secure and a bad idea, not to be encouraged. Again, how can such a basic security feature be missing on such a recent app?

No way to pay mortgage

No way to store your banks routing number or pay my mortgage ! I cant believe this doesnt exist. Ridiculous !

Mobile deposit is useless

Theres a cap on the mobile deposits which makes it fairly useless. Other banks allow you to change it where NYCB doesnt. App is nice to get balance. but doesnt allow any information stored which is a bit of a hassle as well. If mobile deposit actually was useful enough where I could deposit a paycheck it would be helpful.

This app looks and feels beautiful. Everyone who has a smart phone can now deposit checks from their smartphone. Finally! Still, the limit on mobile deposit per check is too small. Please up the limit to $2,000 per check and $4,000 per month so more people can actually deposit their checks using this new app. Please increase the limits!!

Needs iPhone 6/6 Plus Resolution Support

This app has been long overdue, given other banks have supported their users with mobile apps for years now, but it is great it is finally here. However, the app does not support the iPhone 6 and 6S Plus, as the resolution is that of an iPhone 5, which is a bit unacceptable given the phone has been out for more than a year now. In addition, it would be great if the bank finally supported Apple Pay, similar to other banks.

So happy this app is finally ready. I have been asking about it for years. I havent tested all the features, but so far so good! On suggestion, please enable Touch ID login! Even with the "remember me" feature, you still have to enter your password.

Just like everyone else I have been waiting for this app for a very very long time. Its finally here! Took long enough! So far so good. Love the text message feature!

I was a proud employee of this company for almost 7 years (previously OSB) and Im proud to say I love how they treated their employees and how awesome banking with them is. Ive been a customer for 15 years. Its about time!!!! Im super soaked that they have an App now I can conduct my finances more quickly and efficiently. Hooray!!!!

Cannot make mortgage payments with app

I only have a mortgage through NYCB and as far as I can tell there is no way for me to make a payment to it from an external account. Therefore, this app is useless to me. Having to log in to the actual NYCB website is getting old and the features my two other banks offer in their apps (Navy Federal and USAA) are years ahead of NYCB.

Wish you could look at your checks- to see who it was written out too. Also hate that you can not check last months transactions. Would love an update

Mobile deposit is horrible!

My main objective was to not go to the bank to deposit checks I receive. But this app doesnt recognize the amount all the time and when it does it takes 10 days to clear! I know this bank takes longer than any other to clear checks but 10 days is a bit ridiculous!

Needs work

Similar to other bank apps. Wouldnt it be nice if, for those of us who have made complicated user names and passwords for good security, we didnt have to use the phone keypad to enter everything every time? Other bank apps allow the app to remember the user ID and use a thumbprint for a password. Much quicker.

Useless

No TouchID and very buggy as far as it running smoothly. The app closes as soon as I enter my password and then I have to try 2-3 more times before it works.
